UNTs Solar Team offers an opportunity for the students of UNT to gain experience in a professional environment. It is open to all students of the university. Many divisions of the organization will work together to reach one goal. The goal of the organization is to compete in the American Solar Challenge. We will design, build, and race a legal solar-powered electric car. This will not only require engineering design and construction but also marketing and raising of funds. This is a well-rounded organization that will give the members incomparable experiences for their futures. It is unique in that there are no other organizations focusing on alternative energy transportation.
